So basically, Im 6' and about 160 lbs right now. Im riding last years 180 MSP's and not really liking the softer flex and not full twin-tip. The ski is awesome except when Im skiing down bumpier runs (not moguls, like random bump chop gnar chop chop gnar snow). I also kind of want a longer ski. Im looking for a fatter ski, that will be used only for powder days. I looked into the VCT 190, but its not a full twin. I cant really decide between the Maidens 189 and ANT 191. Im afraid the Maidens are too soft, and the ANT's will kick my ass. All input will be appreciated.
the armada JP vs. Julien have a tail that is 10 mm higher than the tip. they're also about the same size as the maidens. and wider than your msp's. and the kicker: they're only $500 on www.proctorjones.com
Yeah JP vs. J is a sick ski, but I think it might be a little soft. The only reason I brought up the Maiden is because I've seen some people ride hella fast switch and down bad lines.
I will be fine for the rest of the year. Just double checking though - Mojo 105 will be full twin, light, and stiff right? Please just dont say yes, if you have read anything about the skis that will help.
