I've seen it in person, i know its amazing but i just dont want to see it in the WINTER X games. Its like watching swimming in the Winter Olympics; it just doesnt make sense.
i know its impressive, but thats not the point. I'm not usually the one to bash corporations but this is just such a blatent ploy for ratings it makes me sick. I mean come on, just call it the X-Games, maybe then we could have some other summer sports that pull big viewer numbers. Why cant they build bigger cooler features that really showcase how amazing skiing and snowboarding are, instead of pouring time and resources into a sport that is completely out of its element.
Seriously...me and my friend were bitching about it all day yesterday. If they are going to do moto x in the winter they better be making some snow for the skiers and snowboarders during the summer games. Such a load of crap. And yeah it is just a backflip contest.
i dont see why you guys are bitching about moto x. its the same thing as doing it in on the dirt. the fly through the air and do some sort of trick and land. theres no difference
Well it's boring on television because it just doesn't do it justice. If you saw that shit in person, you'd be in utter awe the whole time regardless of how little variation there was.
No shit dumbass. We are bitching because they have moto x in the winter games. Its called a DIRT bike not snow bike. I dont see skiing in the summer games.
word. the red bull snowmobile contest they had in Seatle was even cooler than moto x. they can backflip like all the moto x guys but they were doing rainbow rails and grinding on the roofs of busses. it had varity, progression and style. i would watch that any day over dirt bike.
i like it, i mean the snow out there is pure ice, and the jump is massive, from someone coming from dirtbiking it's scary doing a jump on dirt, let alone doing it on snow you gotta be damn brave and good. and i think it's something different, and it's compeltly different then putting swimming in the winter, this actually makes some sense.
