Anyone skydive?

It looks like a fuckin shite load of fun. As skier, I think were all addicted to adreneline. So one day , Id like to learn how to skydive or BASE jump. Anyone do it?

you gotta do it (i've never base jumped, but i have sky dived)...its awesome and its like no other feeling you have ever felt. its great.

i went on an altitude burst...no liscence yet, hopefully i'll have time to get it this summer. you gotta do it.

I went by myself. It was about a 5sec free fall and then the chute opens. It was amazing. I'm goign to go a few more times this coming summer.

I'm at 18 jumps now, did static line progression, then, rather than do practice and testing for my licence, I opted rather to just jump for fun. So I could have had my licence a long time ago, but I spent too much time screwing around and geeking the camera. Luckily, the DZ I learned at was totally chill about stuff, and super small, and I knew the guys, so they didn't care that I didn't have the papers, they were fine with me going up and doing RW, and at jump 15, I jumped a bell jet ranger (heli) at 9k. _That_ is a sweet feeling, cuz from a heli, you have no forward speed, like in a cessna, so it's like falling off a building, until you gather enough speed to work with.
