i was lookinmg at their site, hopeing that some miracle storm had come in and all the runs were open, but no. It did however state they had a "terrain park" what's set up?
As you could probably tell on the weekend, the snow level was low around the 'terrain park' area that was set up for the NSSA slopestyle and the crew of skiers that sessioned it throughout the weekend and especially on Saturday afternoon (well done by the way). For now, we've taken out the urban approach flat rail where all of the rocks and mud was. Some snow was taken from the mini hit and pushed up to that area. The jump is the same size but just a little narrower in landing and takeoff. The tea cup rail was removed so some snow could be pushed around that area of the hill and under the lift. NSSA has another slopestyle planned for this weekend and we don't plan to ignore the calls for better features (despite the piss poor weather and lack of snow fall). We'll be gearing up again for the weekend and hope to put in some different features so that everyone is kept happy...

i dont beleive this...jeremy are you saying that people complained about the terrain park? I put a total of 7hrs of volenteer time to set that up with graham and martin shoveling, robin in the groomer. there was no snow to work with and we pulled a miracle for what we had. the urban set up gives people a chance to practive a skill that they dont get often here, the tea cup (6 skeirs 450 off it) has never been set to that quality ever, and the table was small but destroys anything martock has set this year!
do we want crappy rail set ups? and no table?>???
the park was amazing last weekend for what they had to work with, props to jensen and martin and grahm and robin. look forward to another great park this weekend. if you need ideas or diggers im willing to help.
