I want to see a judge give someone a 0 for doing a switch 10 because it's so fucking boring and unoriginal.

It didn't look like Steele got a good pop, and caught an edge a little on the takeoff...

The switch 10 show got a little boring, but I like the trick. It seemed they weren't really rewarding people for corking out either. They did reward for the stomp and how long they held the grab, which it is why it is funny to hear some of these rants.... Isn't that one of the biggest parts of style?

Anywho, that switch double back attempt left mountain dew all over my coffee table.

I!!!!! It is ruining our sport...and it isn't the athletes faults really, it is the judges...the athletes would be throwing down other stuff if it would get scored higher I bet.

sooo fuckin gay man, they took out slopestyle to do the big air,

why? because the snow was to slow, but they were hitting the biggest jump they had...

didnt gagnier throw his switch 10s diff ways? and somehow still didnt beat schiller. i liked how rory put it by saying that everybody was doing switch 10s and he wanted to switch it up for the crowd watching, and then rainville doing the 3...i dont get why people do more straight forward jumps...i cant rmeember when the last time i saw a straight jump as opposed to switch 7,9,10 in a big air...that shit is fucking boring man.even in video parts, thats almost all they do these days, in a lot of them.

what kind of bullshit is this?? my FFl team gets fucked over, the only trick that podiumed were tens and we're getting shit on because we ski? FUCKING GOLF GETS MORE RESPECT THEN FREESKIING!! i was trying to watch global and guess what? the buick golf tournament is still going so i have to watch phil mickelson fucking shoot into the bunker! OH NO PHIL WHY!! the horrors! guess what? GOLF SHOULD NOT GO OVER ITS TIME LIMIT! actually i dont think any sport should go over the proposed time limit because it'll piss other people off. that is beyond the fact that moto x should not be a winter sport but because its so respected in summer they postpone the thing till the next day so that there will be better conditions and skiiers are stuck with big air comp instead of slopestyle. i didn't actually see the big air (because ABC doesnt want to lose ratings because not enough people freeski) but that does not deter from the point im making in this retardly long and pointless rant. I

Levin I think the diving comp is taking it a bit far. I remember a time when doing the same trick in your second run atuomatically scored you lower. i dont care if everyone throws a sw 10 first time out. it just sucks to watch. good for TJ, glad he won. sad skiing is now the switch 10 show.

10 skiers doing 10 switch 10's in a row=ok. it looks cool after the first steezy one has been pulled.but after that.it blows.

I. That was ridiculous, i was so disappointed in hearing Mike Douglas saying all that stupid shit about biggest spin will win it, he, being one of the pioneers of the sport saying stuff like that just makes me sad

switch 10s are fun and all, but thats what everybody save a few did. it was lame lame lame lame. i hated the announcing with a passion (it reminded me of last year when amplitude was the only thing that mattered in the pipe. amplitude was "all the judges were looking for") this year it was all switch tens that they were looking for. they could have postponed it, gah, it was gay.

What is even more gay was the time they gave it. last year i remember turning on the tv thinking i was going to watch skiing, but all i watch is rednecks on bikes in the snow, when, of course, they have the same fucking event in the fucking summer for the same fucking people! like after 20 minutes of skiing it was back to shit
i watched it recorded so i didnt get the full effect of anger, but damn...

a double invert would have been cool to see, or maybe something other than a switch 10. When i heard that the slopestyle was cancled i was bummed but then i figured 'well maybe this will take the pressure off and show some progression' instead all i got to see was 10000 sw10. I think the most original trick thrown besides the sw double backflip and 7 truckdriver, was Jons spreads before he got switch. The whole comp was super gay.

yea everyone in x games totally should have been like, "switch 10s are fuckin gay, im gonna throw a switch 7, lose, win no money, BUT get props from kids on NS." until judges adopt the theory that a stylie switch 7 beats a switch 10, which is rediculous in itself, everyone needs to stop complaining, its getting pretty old.

However, you guys all forget that the X-Games are not produced to appeal to the core audience, they are MADE FOR TV. They want to see that consistancy from all the athletes, think of the last time you saw a mind blowing trick at the X-Games that was orginal

OK seriously, what the hell??
I thought this competition was sick! What is everyone complaining about? Instead of seeing a gayass slopestyle course with easy rails that I would find at my home mountain, we get an awsomely huge jump where the pros can showcase their biggest tricks. So instead of watching a bunch of skiers do some easy grinds and then some simple 360s and 540s and maybe switch 7s and 9s, we get some true big air showcase. And nothing is more progressive the switch 1080 with a good grab.

This is what skiing should become in my opinion. More technical, to the point where every jump is the same, but judges have to analyze each jump by fram and see who held the grab the longest. That would be true progression, because then we'd know who was the best. If you don't throw a switch 10 in contest, that just means you suck and cant hang with the pros.

what up yea i am gonna stay out of this switch 10 battle. its a sick trick, its getting done a little too much tho i agree... but every person in here needs to shut up right now unless you can do a switch 10... bashing on a trick, especially one of that magnitude without even being close to performing it is not cool. i personally think that taking off forward in general should come back, but you cant say fuck a trick if you cant do it. this applies to all of you cept bishop because i think he can do them.

ok for some reason my last post didnt show up... so i say this again... everybody cept maybe a few, bishop, and levin because he makes good movies, SHUT UP... you cant do cab 10s, you cant even get close, you dont know how hard it is to do one, especially with a true nose mute in it. 50 switch 10s in a row is a little gay i admit, but all these kids bashing on switch 10s when they can do 360s is weak... i think skiers need to learn how to take off forwards again

i've seen the replay of shaun white's last 10 like 10000million times, but none of the sw double backflip. that pisses me off. the 10s did get kinda old after a while, so
