i have herd a few people say they file down their edges so they can slide box better. do you think i should?

you can if you want to file down brand new skis
but if you've already started hitting boxes and rails it shouldnt affect mention.

i didnt on my new skis and on the first day with them i was sliding rails like a pro...only if u suck or ur resort has crappy rails u will catch
