Replying to Rossignol Elite Bandit 1 boots

Im in the market for some new boots, and a few kids i know use them, and they like them, but im just looking for a few more opinions on them before i spend the money. I currently have salmon evolution 8.99 boots and they are nice, but they are giving me shin bang occasionally, and they hurt when I land weird or a little hard, like there isnt much padding left. Iv had the salomon boots for 2 years, and im just looking for a change.
