i started to get comfortable on flat rails and decided it was time to step it up and try the rainbow rail. the one at my mountain is around 5-6 feet tall and 10-15 feet long. anyways i tried it several times and managed to get to the top and essentially fall off of it. i think i may need a little more speed but i was skiing up to it and hopping pretty much straight up it and catching my left ski tip (i slide rails with my left foot forward) almost nutting myself a few times. i'm wondering if it would be better to slide into it sideways. also, should i try to keep my feet together or a little apart? i'd get up to the top of it and my back ski would be dragging. any other suggestions would be great too.
