How to check your speed?

I was wondering how i could measure how fast im going on the mountain. Im thinking maybe a wireless bike speedometer. Any suggestions?

some resorts have guys with radar guns in slow skiing zones, so if u want u could like blow by him on one run, then on the next run stop and ask him how fast u were going

Wireless bike speedometer wouldnt work because it uses magnets and the rotation of your tire to get the speed measurment.

hit a jump, if you case it, your not going fast enough and need to go faster. if you over shoot, your going to fast or popping to hard, slow down and pop softer.

there, thats all you need to know

invent google with heads up dipay hooked up to gps so you could look at it before you hit the kicker

they actually make a bike comp that projects the display from the riders helmet into the lense of the riders glasses. its like 250 though.

count the number of people you pass and divide it by the sum of the run length and snow friction. then subtract the mph of wind. after that get blazed and watch fantasia and forget that you even care, because you shouldnt.

yeah, you can actually get radar guns for pretty cheap. search online a bunch and you could probably find a really nice one for relatively cheap.

You can buy hotwheels radar guns at like zellers or toys r us for about 30-40$ and they are actually pretty accurate. I know someone who uses  1 for longboarding
