Yesterday i broke my leg do to a faulty look px binding has anybody else had trouble with theirs if they've had them Im looking for some names for a unofficial petition to get pivot back in all bindings
That sucks dude. Don't let it get you down too much, you'll be back out before you know it!
About the PX *From the Dynastar/Look/Lange rep in Vegas*
The new binding is actually as good and better than the pivot. The disadvantage of the px is the heel has 15mm of travel as opposed to the 25mm in the pivot heel. The px has a forward pressure system which the pivot binding lacked. Also, after a season or two of clicking the bindings on and off (park session!) they got loose and wiggly under foot. The new binding has more pressure down to keep the boot tighter to the ski.
oh nice thanks man, i wasn't sure weather the injury could have been prevented but I feel better knowing that it wasnt the really the bindings fault. I've been told that what i did was a common ski injury i just broke it twice as bad by breaking my tibula and fibula and not one or the other.
i was landing a cork 3 and I caught a tip going pretty fast and it totally picked up my leg and twisted it every which way and ultimately broke the bones right at the top of my boot. it hurt like crazy.
yea dude, there is'nt much the binding could have done, you just took a nasty fall. Tib Fib is a crappy injury for sure. Rest up, do ur rehab properly and you will be riding soon enough (maybe this summer?)
