what a turdball. To accuse lance of something like that is just low. HE'S THE FRIGGIN MAN!! he won seven tours in a row, possibly the hardest race out there, definatley in the cycling world at least. Your comparison didn't make sense... He didn't accuse him of being a shitty racer instead implied that he took steroids. No body knows if he has or not, so for Bode to go out on the limp like that is bullshit. Lance is a national hero and for people to hear comments such as those will cause a lot of hate towards him.

i dont know anything about lance, but barry deff ya, look at a baseball card of him from 1992 and then 2002 and they are completely different body types, and its not fat like Tony gwenn.


as for lance, you never know, cycling is known as THE doping sport, they are willing to sacrifice their bodies to podium in the tour de france.

You know, I wrote something about a week ago in Bodes defense. But giving Lance shit is over the line. Bode is a fucking couch potato compared with the shit Lance has gone through. They don't evne fucking compare! If you dominate ski racing for 7 years, as in winning Kitzbuhel for seven years running, you are basically a god. However, Bode has trouble finishing consistently, and to knock Lance who has won arguably the most ridiculously difficult sporting event in the world 7 times, he is a shithead.

yeah bode is like the guy that always speaks his mind and pisses people off...just like a bunch of people. except he is famous, the best ski racer in the world, and rich. so everyone makes a huge deal about it. he doesnt care waht you poeple think. plus by him sayin all this shit is just bringing in more publicity to racing as far as the "ski" world goes and you are all buyin in to it. same reason why when you tell someone you ski they laugh at you.

Yes, Bode is from deep in the woods and does'nt always think about the consequences of his quotes. I can however see his point. Everyone is giving HIM shit because he happened to have a few beers before a race when there are actually tons of other professional athletes taking performance ENHANCING drugs and even admiting it. No matter how much I love Lance I know that there is a signifigant chance that he has something secret going on. With so much money top play with, I imagine it would be difficult to stay away from things that could drastically improve you and are not per-say illegal. I just really think the media is blowing up anything that come out of Bodie's mouth these days because they know people are eating up the hype. Oh and bush is a total joke.

Anyone who thinks that it's out of the realm of possibility that Lance Armstrong, knowingly or unknowingly, took performance enhancing drugs is a fool.

Sorry to tell you all that there is no Santa Claus but there isn't. Lance is like every other top level athlete out there. There is a dark side to very elite sports and the athletes that participate in them. It's almost unheard of for someone to make it to that level without "enhancements."

The only difference is that Lance and others are able to find excellent chemists who create new and continued methods of masking the athletes doping. Anyone hear of BALCO? Read their list of clients sometime and those are only the ones whose names were released.

ok, first off you kids need to read in context. lance armstrong did take a certain type of steroid during his bout with cancer, that type of drug is illegal in the realm of sports, but obviously if you're fighting for your life anything and everything is acceptable. certain drugs in the steroid category are used to keep certain types of cancer in remission(non-active) and technically they are also illegal according to most professional sports and of course the olympic committee. lance armstrong is the man,no one is taking that away from him, now rafael palmiero, bonds, and jason giambi i'm not even going there, read raf's averages before and after he got busted, i'll even give him 15% in performance slump because of the bad press and it fucking up his image as well as other things, but still he's not the same player. read canseco's book "juiced" also if you want to hear some shit, not saying its all true, but again read in context and take it what its for. don't just read, read well...

i bet lance has taken roids, but only to rehab his muscles and once he was back to liek 75% he jsu trained normally. my friend was born premature and had to take steroids to devlop his muscles more. steroids aren't a bad thing if you're in kemo for liek 2 years and al your muscles are teribly atrophed
