Creativity and flow in parks

i dont know why so many mtns are incapable of having good flow and being creative. Maybe its differnt out west but ive never been to a mtn that has like 10 mellow and tech jibs in a row then 10 perfect size tables. I ski sunday river everyday it just gets old after a while sessioning the same type of shit. It just isnt that fun. Most mountains have the potential they just dont seem to try. I wana see picnic tables, super long boxes, diffenrt kinks, long mellow rails diffent kinds of jumps, so much more....
cause Park skiing shouldnt be about do i have the balls to hit this sketchy rusty rainbow but just having fun and flowing lines and trains without stopping and throwing tech and styled tricks. flatter parks are so much better too, when you dont have to speed check at all or very little. feels so much better. whatdo u think

because there is no mountain big enough to have 10 tech jjibs and 10 huge tables

yeah. i mean its cool to get the six kink or whatever and maybe youll get lucky and be locked on good enough to throw a 270 out, but i like learning completly new tricks, not just and old one on a harder rail.
also, ive always though that it would be cool to have a more skatpark-like design to the jumps, so you didnt just hit a table all day. like transfers and hips and different places to land off of one lip.

WV park usually has some good flow, three tables, into a c box, then a flat down rail or escalator, then the banked box its tight

that suck! our coolest line is this: first a 6-8 meter jump, then a strange jump thats like 8 meter long, but you can go like 6 meter high, then its a a-frame rail (that was last year, prob something else this year) or a 7-8 meter jump, then a pretty big kicker, prob gonna be around 15 - 20 meter, then its a huuge step up (don't know how big cause its not up yet) and then you can choose between two 20 meter kickers (i think they were gonna be 20) or a super pipe, after that its a huuuge aframe rail or a pretty big wall ride and after that its a down flat down box and it all ends with a qp! i know that they have alot of new rails, so the line will prob get more rails in it! sounds sick?

yea waterville usually has pretty good flow. definatly one of the top parks in the east
skatepark style flow would b amazing like mini star cases and pyrimids and spines and bunch of flat rails in a row for sw ups and 270s

I;d rather have a 40 ft lofty jump than a 60 ft jump that shoots you out.

i think its manly jsut how the natural terrian is laid out, its hard to burld jumps where there arnt rollers or down slopes for landings. they'd have to puch a lot more snow. but i agree i wish lots of parks had better flow, espically with rails at my mtn

Well which is it?
I see the same names posting on this thread how their parks suck and they need like 20 features in a row that are also posting on other threads about how skiing must remain "core" and on the downlow...fuck dude, just look at the olympics thread...
Do you want huge parks? Do you want mountains to be ablke to justify HUGE budgets to build and maintain such features?
Well you have two choices...either skiing goes super commericial or lift ticket and associated prices go WAY up....
you can't stay "core" and buy a 1/4 million dollar pipe cutter

for the east loon and wv have pretty good parks. Loons is probably the better of the two right now and flows alot better.

Talking about that "rusty rainbow" made me completly understand what you're talking about.
East Coast parks for certain get kind of stale...I'd rather see stuff average size, awesome flow, many line options, and set up well.

thing is with "many lines" most trails on the east cost arnt wide enuf to have "many lines" but out west thats cool when they do that

All times are Eastern (-5)
