Re-Fell in Love with Skiing Yesterday

Timeline of the day---
-Long time snowboarder friend gets on skis for first time ever...tries sliding box, hilarity ensues. (With Friends)
-Take a few runs through Loon's park, hit 30 footers, throw huge cossacks. (With Friends)
-Poach Kank Quad lift line...Find knee deep untracked (with Friends) (PS. - how is stayed untracked for 3 days I dont know).
-Poach Loon Mountain Club's Apres Ski party, pillage free hot wings and cheese and crackers. (With Friends)
-Poach Pollard Brook Resorts Hot Tub, Pool, and Sauna. (with Friends)
All in all, yesterday made me realize why I love skiing so much. Its not just the powder, the conditions, or the skiing itself at all. But its just chilling out with people you share a common bond with. In the end you arent going to just remember stomping that huge trick, flashing the line, or putting down a record time (cuz racers are skiers too) but its the people at the bottom waiting to give you a high five that you'll remember most.
Dont forget why you ski.

When you ski as much as I do, it gets tedious to go out there and make yourself ski almost every day.
...Plus this season has been a little less than "epic" for the east coast...
