Where to go in California?

So i live in Beijing China where i work and study (im from Denmark though). I go skiing here on weekends but my friend has hooked me up with some free flight tickets to California.

I have never skied in the states, and i'm wondering where i should head to in Cali; Mammoth, Squaw, Heavenly? Are there affordable hotels there and stuff ?

I want to make the best of my first and probably only chance to ever ski in the states. I'll be going late February early March.

i'd probably say mammoth or bear. they look the sickest out of anywhere

i'd go Squaw if they're having a good season (i really have no idea), otherwise Mammoth for sure
