IPod Shuffle + Skiing = Orgasm in my ears

I just got the ipod shuffle 512 MB for $100 for the sole purpose of skiing/running/working out. I just have to say that it is one of the greatest purchases i have ever made and well worth the 100 bucks. The battery lasts for plenty of time to use all day on the slopes continuously and i can fit about 85-90 songs on it which last the whole day as well. The necklace it comes with is great also. I keep it just outsidemy undermost layer while skiing and it stays warm so it doesnt shut off. ( with ipods they usually dont work while you skiing because they get too cold and lose all the battery charge.) If you can I would definately recommend buying an ipod shuffle or any other brand like it because apple has a tendency to suck ass.

i usually use my 4g 20 gig for that. it works quite well. i just keep it in my inside pocket

i just bought a rio for 70 bucks that is a 2.5 gig and totally puts the ipod shuffle in its place.

that things so skinny though, i'm afraid if i buy a nano and i take it skiing, one fall and it's gonna brake cause of itswidth, have you ever fell on it hard and it still was the same, caus ethat would help me with my decision on which im gonna buy... thanx

Wait a month, you'll hate it. They are total pieces of shit. I broke mine in under a month, warrantied it, and got a brand new one. Two weeks later, it broke as well. And I never abused it, it was always either in my pocket, or plugged into the computer. You should check out one of those tiny Sony ones, with the LCD screen, they rock.

im not saying that the ipod shuffle is the best out there because it clearly isnt, mine also broke. twice. it just happens to be the one i own. the sony one is sick too but in general skiing with a small mp3 player is great

i rock the 40gig brick. my buddy got a video one and hooked me up BIG TIME. $10 4th gen ipod w/ service plan from best buy cha-ching! i made a 9hr ski mix and put that junk on shuffle. so far so good i love waterproof pockets.

i really hope people stop thinking this. i have the black 4gig nano and the only thing wrong with it is that it has some cosmetic scratches on it which isnt a big deal cause i just throw it places. i've fallen straight on it many times (even once tryin a 270 onto a sketchy rail) and it still is amazing and hasnt broken.

well you must have really bad luck i have had my Shuffle scince they first came out hasnt broke yet and its still mint and i was listening to it like everyday up intill i got a nano last eweek now i'm contemplating takeing it back for a video

i have a nano and I've fallen on it/ dropped it/ skeet skeeted on it numerous times and it's still perfect. I tried flexing it and it definetly will not snap easily.

i like my 1 gig shuffle. holds like 250 songs. all i use it for is skiing/running/working out. it's perfect for that.

i got a 5 dollar airsoft gun that i keep under the seat of my car. its fucking tight and is large and doesnt feel cheap. thats a good deal.

I love my shuffle. I don't know about you guys but even with my normal iPod I pretty much only use shuffle so the shuffle is perfect for skiing, walking to class, thumb drive, keychain, whatever.
