Mac DVD copy software

I had DVD Shrink for my PC. It was easy; you put your DVD in and clicked 'copy'. When it was ready for a blank DVD, you put that in, and you were done-regardless of copy protection or anything.

What similar free program can be found for a Mac?

well toast will copy cd's and dvd's, but not if they are protected.....

use handbrake to rip the dvd to your computer, then you can you have the choice of a bunch of other programs to encode and burn. I am not quite sure what format handbrake rips it to, but I know that toast can burn dvds

theres a really good thread somewhere on how to do it.
Download MacTheRipper and that'll let you rip dvds. Its free too. Next get DVD2OneX. That compresses the dvd down so it'll fit on a single layer disk. I can't remember if thats free or if I got a serial or what. Then you can use toast or even just finder to burn it. It's pretty simple once you figure it out.

so like right now i have a movie ripped into a folder on my desk top.
k.
now? i can burn that folder...but that won't be like a dvd playable in players

if you have toast you can burn the video ts file and it will work in any dvd player. I think you can do it without toast as well.

i can't get toast to burn it.
i think i need to burn both the audio_ts and video_ts folders, and it's saying all this mumbojumbo about format unreadable....gay..

take mac the ripper than make a dvd folder insert a disk pull it into the folder and in the finder window click burn to dvd

ctrl click on the video ts folder and then click "Toast It". Toast should open up and already be set up to burn a video dvd from video ts file.

ripped using mactheripper
to a desktop folder
control clicked desktop folder and clicked 'toast it'
toasted it
and it won't play in a normal DVD player

why can't i just find a dvd shrink program for a maccccc

NO NO NO all you have it all wrong. Fast DVD Copy is all you need and its one click and you dont have to change or rip anything it does it all for you and its the best way to do it by far and the least complicated!!!

you should be able to find a pirated version pretty easly. otherwise its $90, and if I was a grown man with a job, I would buy it for sure.

no i tried burning as a DVD video in Toast


i really want fast dvd copy to work but it needs a serial number and none i find work.
i have fast copy 3.6, any numbers...anyone?

where did you get it? did you try searching google for "Fast DVD copy 3.6 serial"? the best place to get it would probably be demonoid.com, thats where I got mine. it all came in a compressed folder, with the program and serial.

Ok this is what i do on my ibook. I have Handbrake. Its what coppies my dvd's into mp4's for me. then if you want to put it on a dvd. open idvd. import it. burn it. then your done.

brody i've been on this same mission as you for like 2 months. i had a demo version of the fast dvd or wahtever and it only let me burn one dvd. so lame. i'd like to know if you find anything, cause i need it.
