oh man, I almost broke my back on their boxes last year..... they dont keep their park in shape and its crowded with idiotic poeple..... if u want all park go to boreal, and if u want good park jumps and good backcountry go to alpine

as much as I hate Flat* - they do have one of the best parks and currently the BEST pipe in Tahoe...there is a reason why many pro snowboarders call it home

Sick rail lines, great progressive box features (just cause you fell does not take away from their park), OK jumps, and sick super pipe

You complain about crowds yet recommend Boreal? what the fuck r u smoking and can I get some? Boreal is THE most crowded dangerous hill in the country! Fuck that place...


BTW...you can poach N* fairly easily, I snowmobile up the backside from carnelian bay and park it at the top...they don't check tickets on the upper mountain....the easiest way for you to poach is to buy have a bro shuttle a jacket down to you from the upper mnt with a ticket then ride up the gondola

Northstar is hands down the best park in Tahoe. Anyone who says differently is an idiot especially if they say Boreal is better^. Northstar grooms te crap out of everything everynight. Everything is shaped to perfection and the park crew goes through to resape EVERYTHING twice a day to keep it all in good shape. They have just about every rail and box feature imaginable. There is also a bad ass jump line. As far as poaching there is a service road that goes up to were all of the cats are parked. This road will atke you high enough up that you can ski without showing a ticket. I never actually looked closely at doing this but my friend did and he said it would be pretty easy.

you cant hike it, its at the top of the hill . it would take an hour to get there, and thats just a stupid idea.

ya northstar sux. its super expensive. u gotta take a gondola to get newear. and its filled with the stupidest and most stuck up assholes you'll ever find. go to alpine, squaw, or heavenly

northstar is dope. i had a blast there, and i want to go back. there is a lot of flow and many of fun features.

but the hike? that would be a long way. its pretty flat and long. it would take a long time no doubt.

N* has the best park and Pipe around right now hands down, but if you want jumps go to alpine. I was at N* today and it was crowded but still a sick park, and the stair set they have is so sick, best feature Ive seen in tahoe. It puts boreal's stair set to shame.

boreal is not that bad of a set up but it is ridicously to far away to get to from the tahoe basin. for parks goto N*, Alpine, Heavenly (midweek only) or kirkood

I've skied northstar since the age of 3, it's come a long way in 18 years. The park has grown a lot, but i still think the jumps suck, probably because just about the only other place i go for park is mammoth. This year they seem better than last, personally i don't like landings to be quite so steep, but does make for a soft landing if you stick it.

I remember Northstar being super nice last year. Maybe it was a bit crowded, but the park was maintained to a T and there were tons of features. If it is the same as last year I would consider it top notch.

Squaw's super pipe is WAY undervert... I think Nstar's got it all over the rest of tahoe (in terms of pipe).

northstar is the shit im on the freestyle team there i ski 7 days out of the week and i hands down prefur to ski at the star they have the best pipe most jibs best quallity jibs sick jumps this year last couple of years the jumps have sucked but now there sick the have june mountain cat drivers now and the biggest park staff

yo if you ever are up there i allways like to ski with new people

the park is sick. there jumps suck, the landings are way to small. but they have the stair case set up and it is way fun and easier than you think. and no i have not hiked in before but my friends have and it is really not that bad, just stay away from the gondola. or you can go on Sunday and ask some kid with a Truckee id and you can get a ticket for 5 bucks.

ya overall it sux and the park is good, but i think heavenly has a sicker park and alpine has way less crowds. and once squaw gets theirs all the way up it is sick
