so me and a bunch of friends have some rails built up, also a couple of stalls and i guess a jump of sorts, (the stuff we have can be seen under a-d-a-m's videos, and some other stuff, so where we live theres a shitload of kids who ride twins, and a bunch of kids who would go, would it be a good idea to have a little railjam, maybe even try to get a local shop to "sponsor" it, if they say yes maybe charge like 5-10 dollars for the day and split the profits with the shop or something, and then give away a bunch of prizes and the money to like winners and random kids i guess........and please, dont kil me for this, i thought it sounded fun
thats sad that you are afraid to ask others opinion....this site is to negative. thats not the point of the thread thought soooo i think it is an excelent idea it would be sweet if it was pulled off
yeah if something like that happend in my town i would deff do it. but i would go with 5 rather then ten dollars. because for a backyard rail comp i dunno if i would pay ten. but i depends on the prizes i guess.
nasty idea, if someone did that around here, im sure they could get a sponsor and some kids... u might wanna think about having a snowboarding division too, cause that will draw some kids, unless u have alot of twin tip kids
the only thing you gotta watch for at places like this is insurance issues... and people paying... I agree most ppl wont sue but u gotta watch out of ppls insurance companys if someone gets hurt or something, insurance and law is sketchy these days but go for it, sounds sick, we have friday night sessions at my buddys place... free
Ya insurance is a big deal, it sounds kool but i think you should just stick to riding with your friends and have a small comp. wer you just throw in money but dnt make like an entrance fee
jus print sum waver out saying I WILL NOT SUE IF I GET HURT...then everyone that wants to participate must sign it....its simple! but ya sounds pretty cool bro
there is more to it than that... even lawyer drawn wavers may not hold up in court... not saying its gonna happen but just procede with caution on events like these...
