Say I wanted to transport a flat rail or something. What is the legality of transporting shit on highways? I heard 10ft max can be sticking out of the back as long as its flagged? Anyone know its this is tru? I want to transport a rail through my camry wit the seats down and shit. Just wondering what exactly are the legal rules behind doin this. Its only a 10-15min drive transporting it. leme kno thanks!
how long is it; im a sailor and we put masts on the top of our cars and drive from eire, pa to michigan so as long as you flag it i think its prfectly legit
my buddy and i stole a c-rail back when i was in CT, and we put it in the back of his pickup truck and cause it was a C it stuck way into the air, we thought it was gonna take out a stop light or catch on a bridge but luckily it didnt, i dont know shit about the laws though
o shit, that was me. The rail was seriously sticking 15 feet from the ground. There was a bridge that was 14'9" and i wasn't sure we would make it but we just barely did.
Are u that kid who rides with Jeff Rut? I go to his old high school...and yea, as long as its flagged i wouldnt worry about hte exact length it sticks out, i think ur best bet would be to just do it at night though so its not as obvious. Are u planning on being on like the turnpike or US1? or jsut like normal roads
i dont think its legal becayse its sticking out the side. to my understanding your not allowed to have things sticking out the side? i know there is a law were your cars wheels cant extend further than the sidepanels of your car
just put it on top of your ski racks, or your cross bars and get the same amount in the back as the front. or you can always get it on a tandem bike and ride it to the locale.
