first of all ive skied Pa and the shitty east coast for 18 years so ive put my fuckin time in there second i cant post shit cause im to lazy to put it on another site just so itll b on newschoolers third the reasons pro's in the park arnt over 25 is cause they killed it when they were 10 and if u look at the videos now park segements r all the same and dont mean shit the pros know that taking tricks to the BC or strightlining a sick line is way more sick than ne park shit if u look at big mt riders there around 30 cause that actually takes endurance and a fit body to ski it as well as skill third of all i graduated from C.B. East which has been rated the best H.S. in Pa and im pretty sure im smater than u as iam now attending the U of U for architecture which holds one of the best architecture schools in the country and i dont work in the winter just so i can shred whenever i want and shreding isn't just the park its the park during high pressure and cliff drops on snow days and backcountry booters the days after a storm and by the way i dont think im hot shit but u know what i know ur not shit cause ive never heard of u while people that i ride with r either pro or should b, no this doesn't make me a better or cooler skier at all i doesn't matter who u know or how good they are what makes me a better skier is that i ski cause i love it and i never could hav more fun so stop bitching just cause ur mt sucks, don't make it sumthing its not and maybe instead of shreding park ur whole life maybe u should use the east for what it has to offer, the tighest trees ever, cliff hucks to hardpack, which will make u sick , and go fuckin hike something like tuckermans, cause i know thats what i did when i was stuck there
o yea lastly i wasn't startin shit i find it very hard to belive that there is a 60 ft at blue when for the past 18 years there hasnt been ne thing close to that size, so was it not an intelligent assumption that since blue has no vertical no real steep areas to build a jump that big that would b hittable that i assumed it was bullshit?
o yea jus to let u know i see 12-14 year olds all the time 270 on 450 out, 270 triple change up 270 out so get over the park it is exactly that a park to play around in
im not tryin to hate on ne one here its good so see people stoked on skiing back home but stop bitching about the conditions or blaming them for your shortcommings and actually do something about it ur 19, 20 whatever, if ur over 18 and u love skiing move to where u can progress,, if u guys do kill it move out west or up north and ull get so much sicker
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wow. you still cant manage to make ANY sense there bud. all i got from that is old ppl are only gonna progress if they get out of the parks and that you brag about riding with pros while at the same time you say you are not bragging.
also i think you are trying to say if you are good you have to move out west because pros can only come from the west???? all park skiing pros look the same?? the only cool thing to do in the east is huck off mini cliffs onto hardpack???
chris420, you have two "third" points. i believe one of them should be "foursth." what high school you went to has absolutely no bearing on how smart you, as an individual, are. there were kids in my high school that will some day be finding the cure for cancer, aids, high blood pressure, etc. there were also kids who, sadly, will do no better than working the mcdonalds drive-thru for the rest of their lives. congratulations for making it to college, thats more than a lot of people ever accomplish. however, you bragging about being in college in an architecture program is not getting you anywhere. i am in college, as are KT, toast, PRski, and many others. some of us, although we are still in college, already have jobs lined up for when we graduate. stop trying to make yourself seem all high and mighty. you're a college student who likes to ski, just like all of us. we're stuck in the east for school, so thats what we have to work with right now.
Sweet life you fucktard. Love it how you try to save it by saying "I'm not trying to hate on anyone" after throwing out one volatile remark after another. You may not be hating on us directly, but you're hating on what we got, which to many of us is the same thing. I grew up with Whistler on a regular basis until high school, and now I go to school in Philly. I just went to the Olympics as an employee for NBC through an opportunity at my university, and I didn't see any U of Utah students out there... Stop talking yourself up like you're hotshit, cuz no one out here cares unless they know you. Keep doin it, and the only hot shit is gonna be the steamy pile that someone is gonna dropkick you into for being such a douche. Congrats for being the man and talking about how good you have it on the PA/NJ/NY forum, feel better about yourself? Good... Now stop being such an ass.
So where the fuck are you seeing these kids "270 on 450 out, 270 triple change up 270 out"? In the backcountry? No, probably in Pick 'n' Shovel. Well guess what, bro, there are kids all over Pa. who are half your age and can do that, too. I'd say the last hit in Kings is barely 60 right now. There are jumps that big all over the East and Midwest (or at least there were a couple months ago).
Which is why it makes sense for these kids to be park rats...
It also makes plenty of sense for them to bitch about their season on Newschoolers.
You, however, have no business talking shit about park skiers in the NY/Pa/NJ forum.
To chris420: theres somethin u hav to realize son.....these jumps in Pa are 60ft long but they may not kick you up nearly as high up as a 60footer at PC that probably has a lot more snow made out of it. Your just not thinking logically here. 60 ft is not THAT LONG....these are STEPDOWNS AT BLUE MTN NOT TABLETOPS! THE DIFFERENCE IS HUGE! Especially when comparing distances. Wow.
Well said Justin, I can't think of any 13, 14 year olds dominating the park scene, especially in PA. OH, I KNOW WHY! 70 foot jumps + 13 year old prepubescent kids = DEATH.
