Mine don't bruise, but sometimes after I've skied a bunch of days in a row when I take my boots off it feels like my ankels are worthless. To elaborate, it feels like the ligaments in my ankels don't want to hold me up anymore. Generally, if I buckle my boots a bit snugger the next day, it helps me out. If you're actually bruised, it may be something funky in your liners.

anyone wanna recomend a boot to buy??? I'm not sure what i want or what i need, and the shop at my hill wont let me demo any boots. Whats overall better, a stiff or soft boot?

Check ur boots, or do u bruise easy cause I know if u touch some people the like bruise maybe that is the problem???

It aint your ankles man. I got the shittiest ankels around, I jacked them 100's of times skateboarding and tramping. They are like nachos now, snapping every time I walk. Your boots are your problem, stiff boots arent the greatest for tricks/pipe but they'll give you the support you need. I ride Dalbello TRX 9's from last year. I've even skied with badly sprained ankles - ski boots are like a cast, you may not be able to walk, but if you ice down your ankle enough to fit it in your boot, you sure as hell can ski! Getting the boot off is the problem. Damn I'm hardcore...
