Drill holes for rail?

hey, i got a rail and the suport post is 2 inch by 2 inch and i got my rail set up with frozen snow...but i live in N.B and we got grass...i want to be able to stick my rail in the groud cuz my frozen snow is melting..how can i get a 2X2 inch hole with out recking my lawn?>

you just make supports so it just sits on your lawn

either make it so you don't need it to go in the ground or, dig neatly and save the grass

make supports, or do the diging thing and save the grass liek the guy said. id reccomend supports tho
