Hey I listen to atmosphere and think that slugs just a genius with his rhymes, but i was just windering wats up with all the refferences to the number seven?
my bro went to warped tour and wanted to know if i wanted anything. i was just starting to get into underground and i heard about atmosphere. so i had him pick me up sevens travels. yea, it was cool, but i didnt appreciate it to its fullest.
a while later, my friend sent me god loves ugly over the internet and i didnt like it too much, but i burned a copy and listened to it. after a while, i realized, this is amazing. holy shit it was good.
then, for christmas this year, i got his newest cd, and like the others, i wasnt impressed, but it grew on me so much. its playing right now actually. good shit
just picked up headshots:seven from a store thats going out of buisness, but i left it in vt and havent been able to listen to it too much, im sure it will grow on me as well though.
in conclusion, atmosphere is sick and has kept me from being upset all day on a few occasions. i swear man, some of those songs were written about me. so good. fuck yea!
^ i have full out given up on trying to introduce people to atmosphere because of that reason. it really has to grow on most people and so for the most part, it's something you have to do for yourself.
they will both captivate you eventually just like God Loves ugly did.
His new cd is a little different then his older stuff which i like better.
but "you can't imagine how much fun where having" has some good tracks, and ANT is solid on the production. Just doesn;t have the same power as his oler stuff. Still good none the less, just different
yeah i kinda meant to mention that...you NEED overcast!
that's like the raaaw shit. back when slug was a battle rapper. and spawn was still in the group, and it's just a completely different sound. not very many "emo-rap." and trust me, i hate that term more than anyone.
and lucy ford, that...for me...is like THE one atmosphere album to have.
