its no big deal. Next time you go skiing the rust will rub off on the snow. I don't know how good that is for skis but i just let it rust. Sometimes if its really wet and i'm in no hurry i'll dry them off.

a gummy stone will remove the rust for you, they are cheap and can be picked up at most ski shops, its best not to let rust stay on the edges for too long, however a gummy stone can and will dull the edges so its best to run a diamond file on the edges after you use the gummy stone, if at the very least always get the rust off before you put the skis away for the summer.
