So today i was skiing along and figured i'd check out some of the mogul training. I was expecting to see the usual moguls...daffy twister spread into a backscratcher kosack and that sort of thing. Lo and behold the very first person i saw hit a jump was some guy from finland who nailed a misty 720. Behind him, a couple canadians made their way down, the first guy stuck a rodeo 720 and the other guy stomping what was probably the smoothest cork 720 i've ever seen. I had no idea they'd changed the rules for this year to allow any trick in competition. Basically, moguls rules now and i'm gonna duck out of work tomorrow to catch the finals.

yeah theirs a video in the video section in westerlund that some guys lands a smooth d-spin 720 mute grab and a dinner roll it was sick

Bah. I guess anyone who was doing any cool tricks didn't make it passed qualifying. I watched almost the whole quarter and semi finals and the best trick i saw was a 360 mute. Though i heard that before i got there someone stuck backflip japan...but didn't win the heat. Canadians did well though..1st and 2nd in the womens and stephane rochon got 2nd in the mens.

CONCERNITE THE UNVERYED STUFF:
the problem is that the tricks arent catalogued..so the judges looks at the at trick and they are like 'ah..it look controlled...nice landing...and put a score..thats why its kinda weird for tthe points..
