To make this thread legit...... Yes, in someways, one can even say it has. Since skiing is atleast 2 to 2 and a half years behind snowshredding, we have reached the point of well "knowness" that snowboarding had two to two and a half years ago. But Skiing will probably not be as cool as snowboarding, but will soon be really close to them, and we will see more and more ski companies and snowshread companies filming together. The way I look at it is, the more snowshredders I am friends with and ride with, the more mountain cred I have. Plus, I offer utmost respect to snowboarders, I decided to get my own snowboard and try it myself. It was easy to learn, but it is still really hard. I still hurt myself pretty bad the first time I tried it, but it was rewarding. But yeah, once and a while you will find a shredder that doesn't care what you ride as long as you can keep up to him and do wrad things. Ofcourse you will also find shredders that don't have that same mentality. But then again you find skiers that wear shirts that say "If it were easy it would be called snowboarding". Or "I had a snowboard, but then I cut it in half a long with my penis", or something rediculous like that.
