the most definatly did not present it as a followup to snatch! all they said was PRODUCED (not directed, and in NOT GUY RiCHI) by the same producer as Snatch and Lock Stock and 2 smoking barrels.

honestly, would you want another snatch or lock stock? I mean those movies were fucking great, but even those movies were almost too similar. if you didnt like Layer Cake, you either need to watch it again, or you simply dont have an appreciation for good film, or you dont like the whole idea of the movie.

i watched it twice, it was a nice enough movie, but nothing great. i was expecting better. and in the add i saw it was giant caps lock FROM THE GUYS WHO BROUGHT YOU LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELLS etc.

In the UK layer cake was kinda bigged up to be the new snatch, same sort of style. It was a good film but i was pretty disapointed with it.

Anyone seen Revolver? What did peeps think? i thought it was pretty good, its no lock stock thou.

sorry to bump this up, I just watched this movie, and it was fucking great. I liked the mood, the way it was directed(especially angles and music), the plot was fairly classic (unrealistic?) yet entertaining, with no exagerated hollywood explosions. Good stuff for sure.

yeah when i first herd that they were using him and that he was blond i was skeptical at first, but it could work, after all rodger moore was blond. although clive owen would be better.
