USASA=Bullshit

I went to compete in their competition this weekend at Sunday River and now I'm pissed. They wanted me to pay $30 entry fee per event, plus pay an additional $30 to join the shitty USASA, but my membership would only last for 2 competitions. This is total bullshit. They shouldn't make skiers pay to join, since we see no benefit of this organization. If i decided to compete in both the pipe and slopestyle, it would have cost me $90. For 10 more i could have entered the US Open, but the prize for that is several grand, as opposed to the set of skis that the winner of this got. We as skiers shoud boycott these USASA events since they basically just take our money and give very little back.
