but fantasy freeride kinda sucks in a way.

with normal fantasy leagues, you pretty much know who will actually be playing, and actually have to predict who will do better.

with ffl, it's not just about who will beat who, but it's total guesswork about who will enter. people with inside info about who's actually going to compete have a big advantage. For instance, I thought no way was Jon going to enter the open - he's mr. superpimp swedish ski star/clothing model now, and probably does 5 hot chicks before lunch. I thought he'd totally give others a chance in the open and not enter, but instead, 3rd in slopestyle.

similarly with tanner, I would have maybe drafted him, but I could have sworn he claimed he wasn't competing this year in that denver post article.

i'm not mad or anything, it's just an online game, but I wish you could pick people with knowledge of who was actually entering what - i think it'd be more fun trying to pick who will beat who than trying to guess who will enter and who will decide to smoke weed all weekend instead, or not try.
