There is no such thing as Cab in skiing so people need to stop fucking saying it same with fakie. Cab in skateboarding is spinning while you are riding fakie which is riding the board in the same stance that you normally skate but backwards so that when you olley you puch your front foot down and slide your back foot thus popping of the nose of the skateboard. Cab in snowboarding means a switch frontside spin where you spin off the nose of the snowboard. Nobody, far anyways, spins off of their tails while riding switch, in skiing. End of argument.
Cab is a switch frontside spin. But in snowsports it's not really "cab" because cab involves a fakie ollie. So unless you are riding switching and ollieing off your tails it's not *really* cab. But no one cares, they call it cab anyways. Cab.
cab is short for caballerial . . . fakie backside three in vert skating named after Steve Caballero. Take away the trucks and it appears to be a switch frontside 3. take away the snowboard and . . . why did skiers start using this term again?
