I got some boots today not to bad...i dont know if there much of a park boot but they are quite comfy... I got some Rossignol Elite exp 3's i think...for 189 i guess its not a bad price ither. it was super icy today tho and the ski's i have arnt the greatest(line ghetto blaster 133) but its learning.Seems that its quicker to get going on skis then snowboarding.Any beginning pointers would help!So far i can carve,and cut just barly. haha i know that sounds akward but i figure id rather learn to ski minus snowplowing.it was only my second time on skis ever.

work on bending ur knees and leaning into ur turns and cuts more w/ ur knees than ur whole body-jus watch a rly good skier ski and pay attention to his knees- ull get it- and try to work on pole plants too- take a lesson or somethin

yea im always watching ppl ski...i live 15 min from a mountain so ill be going between classes so ill get alot of learning time in this year...

Oh i know no way in hell im going in a park or anything like that. I got a cousin who skis and he rips hes helping me. which is good,but alota times i seem to do better if i learn on my own with the help of just watching ppl...

Yea i have a problem cutting right foot going outward first...so id be going left...i think lol....but i can do it the other way just fine...i seem to turn it into a carve instead...

it was one of my friends first days on skis today adn he was landing 360 but would fall after he rode out cause he didnt know how to stop...my drunken story of the day.
