Already tore my ACL a couple seasons ago, and last week I had a major scare..luckily i only tore some of the soft tissues around my knee which means i have to do physical therapy 3 times a week for about 4 weeks. Just wondering how many people have had multiple knee injuries (ligament tears, etc.),whether the injuries happened to the same knee, and how it affected your skiing afterwards.
I've had 3 acl surgeries on my right knee and torn my mcl and on my left knee, couple dislocations, meniscus, and mcl. (all in the last 5 years). I can ski fine now, it's sore at times though. My right knee goes 15-20 degrees the wrong way cause of so many surgeries, so I still wear a brace, but not because of the acl, because of the prevention of hyperextensions and subluxations.
