Painting Poles

I sandded them and put acrylic on them. Should i have painted them, then put acrylic on them?

i painted mine...i just sanded then spraypainted....it was coming off but i didnt really care i was just gonna repaint them.....then someone stole them

Im gonna spray paint some poles white, and but skinny electric tape around the top of it near the handle. Should be sick.

those are pretty sick poles, but aren't they a bit heavy?

bout the acrylic, should i sand it again, paint, then acrylic?

yea, they actually do, but weight doesnt make a big difference, wen youre riding you dont really feel it, my poles r alluminum, so they were heavy anyway
