How can you delete all the shit that comes in the drop down menu on a google or yahoo thing..like..I click in there and there is like 3 miles of stuff...
i asked the same question to google a few days ago, porn like what? anyway just highlight it and press delete. if you google it you could probaly find out how to get rid of all of it by deleating a regestry key or something
Some computers (like mine) won't let you just delete anything in the drop down, and if I delete all of the drop down shit I have to type in all my info for stuff instead of a handy dropdown. So if I search anything "bad" in Google (why you're looking for porn on Google, I have no idea...) I'll search "a" and then look in the url for this part....
If you are using IE...go to the TOOLS tab, then INTERNET OPTIONS, then the CONTENT tab and click on the Auto Complete button. Turn them off for FORMS and that should stop that problem. You will never have a drop down box again on your search engine
You could also do this is you like the dropdowns:
go to the TOOLS tab, then INTERNET OPTIONS, then the ADVANCED tab and browse down the list to SECURITY and check this box "Empty Temperary Internet Files folder when browser is closed". So every time you close the browser your Temp files are deleted. This could cause slightly longer web page loading times though
you might be able to go to properties on a certian file type and change what program opens when you click the certian file, im at a computer at school so i would have to see when i get home
no you definatly can. that or you can go to tools internet options and then delete files and cookies. delete history the little clock thing. but the google thing definatly works, but you can only do one at a time
yup yup, there should be a more persice but more complicated way of deleating just the google history. google "deleating google history" and see what you get, i just dont feel like it
