i was just wondering if anyone else enjoys his books. i have just discovered him so far i have read slaughterhouse-five and god bless you, dr. kevorkian. i am just starting to read bluebeard, too. good shit.
hes the only author who quotes his other books (or well at least). If you like him you will also like:
Philip K. Dick
Chuck Palunik
Hermann Hesse
Jack Kerouac
Kilgore Trout
And you might just like my book. PM me if you want me to email it to you.
yeah he is my favorite author. i red slaughter house 5 and am reading breakfast fo champions and have another shortstories book when i havent started yet. i have read other but i cant remember
Cat's Cradle had the best ending to any story ever, dying in a position of giving God the finger. I thought it was classic. Excellent reads, all of his stuff.
I just finished reading Cat's Cradle, its a phenomenal book. Though so are all his other books I have read (Slaughterhouse and God bless you). I highly recommend checking out his books to anyone who has yet to read something by Vonnegut.
idk i read slaughterhouse 5 and he is an excellent author but it was just way tooo fucking strange for me. i heard it was about the fire bombing at dresden so i was expecting that but there is only a tiny bit focused on that and the rest is about aliens and wierdness.
No, there was a book published under the name Kilgore Trout, but Vonnegut had nothing to do with it, I actually heard he was kind of mad about it. I forget the real author's name, though.
