ok, ive toughed out some really harsh shit, but this was insane. i skied jay from saturday-today and it was the first time i ever didn't want to rip all day. the high today was 3, and really windy! when i woke up and went outside it was
-10. i skied for like 4 days and the warmest it got was 16 for like a hour when the sun came out. the snow was pretty sweet, and obiously jay's terrian is sick, but if your gonna go take your warmmest stuff. any...and i mean ANY exposed skin at these temps. is really painful and will cause frostbite within like 15 mins. i took the fleece thing i keep over my nose off for like 10 mins and I got severe frostbite. insanly good snow...insane temps.

i skied bretton woods on saturday and i woke up to -22 with out the windchill and i went skiing in that shit. it was fuckin crazy

same thing at sugarloaf. the high was about 0 without wind chill factored in. plus i woke up to about 25 below.

here in wetaskiwin Alberta it is -19F 0r -30C and tomorrow is cast to be -40F wich is also -40C. Its cold and that is without wind, thats the temp.

i skied jay sat to sunday.. wasnt that bad i skied 10-4 both days only stoppping at lunch and no neck warmer or nuthin... maby im just used to it skiing jay since before i was 1 year old every weekend

sunday afternoon at smuggs the windchill was -55 below on madonna, 2 years ago i remember the windchill was -115 and they had the entire mountain closed but one lift. it was the worst run of my life.
-jon, skiing the ice so the other half of the country doesnt have to.

its -43 right now without the windchill and its super windy and with the windchill its over -60,and we ski in this shit every weekend,so dont complain about -22,that would be a treat for us here

didn't they shut down jay on monday cause of the wind and cold. i've been there in the spring and it can be incredibly cold.

yah, last weekend was my first time skiing at jay. i know they all say it hurts the first time, but this was crazy (did u pick up on that sexual conotation?) i've never skied in such cold weather. i have to say though, the powder was worth it. i've never skied shit that good on the east side.
