just rode a demo pair of these things the other day, and i fucking hated them. it felt like i was riding 2x4s under my feet. no response at all, just dead. was this just the demo pair, or has anyone else gotten this too?
Yeah I thought the same thing as well. THey aren't lively at all. This seems to be the problem with all of the sidewall skis that I've been on. K2, Armada, and 4frnt. All ski the same way. They are soo dead. That's why I ride LINE. Their skis have a ton of pop and life to them. You can get so much more out of the skis when carving.
i love my BC's but if you took them in the park you are an idiot.Rory bushfield is the man and that is why he has his in the park. But they are heavy and wide for a reason, that is to float on top of snow.
I have the new BC mounted 3cm back from center and they are the best skis i've ever been on. Im a big guy so i have the weight to flex them, i think that helps.
What? I use my Line Moships Flites as a park ski and they are the best park skis I've ever been on. I love them. They are super stable because they are so wide and they have lots of pop.
i dont know about that...i have arv's and i ride them in park and tehre wicked sick..so as far as armadas go i think tehre amazing...even with a non-park ski

you guys saying bc's, armadas and 4fronts are dead skis are stupid ass motherfuckers! the only reason they feel dead is cause you are such pussies who cant put the power that the ski demands into it. go get a sloppy buttery ski and shut the fuck up.
With stiff skis you can put way more energy into them before you pop then a soft ski. That is if you actually CAN put it in.
is that a joke? everyones lines that i think i have ever seen are un ridable within a season. Line is a joke. and its not biased, seeing as how everyyyyyone that i believe i know that rides line HATES it. My skies were fucked like 10 days in.
no weight is necessary to "bend" the Scratch BC's. They are one small step above the blue noodle Pocket Rockets (yes, I own a pair of those so i'd know).
