Hey im lookin at goin to school at madison nezt year and im wonderin if there is good skiing there. Right now i live in duluth and ski spirit mt. for those who know it. Anyways wondering how close stuff is/ how good it is. I've heard of Cascade and Tyrol, how close are they hows the park, etc.?
tryol hardly disappoints, and ive heard cascade has really been stepping up the past couple of seasons. each are about 20-30 minutes from madison, tyrol is down 151 and cascade is up 94, couldnt be much easier.
are you saying that tyrol has better rails and jumps?
I have to disagree, cascade a both step ups and step downs, and many normal tables. tyrol has what a 20footer and a big air jump? rails, cascade kills it in rails, they have the 80ft s rail if you are daring and a 40 coaster and a fucking school bus with a rail on the top!
Tyrol does have the staricase but that imo is the only thing they have on cascade!
u dont get any air on there jumps. lame . 80ft s rail is impossible if ur not a pro and the coaster licks my nuts.. ehhehehe .. 3 straight rail line is cool so is the flat down i havent seen it up ......... do you usually ski sunburst how are there jummps. i went there like a week ago pretty titties..
i havnt been to SB since they opened. not worth it for me when i ski free at wilmot and tyrol and cascade are just as close and cheaper. plus their setups are better.
when i get back to school im def going to hit all three places. only one class on both tuesday(10 at tyrol) and friday(15 for college kids) and i dont mind missing them. SB is only about 45mins from school.
Hey, i go to madison as well and ski at tyrol. Its probably going to take you around 30 min to get there if your going straight from downtown. It really depends on how fast you drive and what kind of directions you have been given.
