I've had 3 pairs of gloves and 1 pair of mits and my hands are still cold as hell. I noticed both the gloves and mits are both large. Should gloves have a bit of room in them or fit snug?
warm up your body, and your hands will take care of themselves. your extremities are what feels cold before everything else, so even if your body feels warm enough, your hands will still be freezing. same problem with me, but i finally found that putting an extra layer on really helped

Get a pair of gloves that come with add in liners. Ive got some burton gloves, and while expensive, my hands have never been cold, even at whiteface in -15 to -20 fahrenheit... maybe colder...
Liners man, liners. Buy like a thin pair of 10-20 dollar synthetic liners and your hands will be perfect all day long. Even in expensive gloves my fingers get cold without liners
haha last saturday I left my gloves at home, so I ended up skiing without gloves and it wasnt bad at all until i lost my ski in the waist deep pow and had to dig it out, but otherwise it was good, and then at 1pm some american tourists gave me some army surplus gloves he had...
Gore Tex. Your hands are the sweatiest part of your body. Wet sweaty hands = really cold hands. Gore Tex is the most breathable material out there. Dry hands = warm hands.
