Sounds familiar? It should because thats all I ever hear on NS. Why all the hate? At the end of the day this sport in which we choose to immerse ourselves is purely about freedom and expression. It's about getting up at 7.30 with your heart racing knowing you might just have one of the best days of your life today. It's about the first time you pull that trick you've been practicing and sticking in your mind for the last week. It's about knowing exactly who you are and expressing yourself for you, not giving a shit what the posse of kids in the park think about you.
Skiing in its essence is a feeling, and far too much people are caring less about that feeling and more about the feeling they get from others. Next time you get that feeling, dont let it pass over you. Embrace it and remember exactly why you do this, if its not for the love, get out the game, you dont deserve it.

After all, this is just an internet forum, the real deal is out there, and whether a kid can pull a switch corked 1080, or has just pulled his first safety, at the end of the day we are all the same - just dreaming about the next time we can shred it.
