Replying to Ditch Chronics get Karmas?

Hey guys, I just got a job that is netting me a bit of money, which is a freedom I haven't had in a while, so I'm looking for a new pair of boards. I have 04/05 Gold Chronics that are fun skis but I am looking for something a little wider for more powder, maybe stiffer, something I can ski all mountain with and still get decent park performance. Also durable, so I can do rails without worrying.

I guess my question is this: Is it worth paying 400 for Karmas(I get a 40% discount), and selling my Chronics? Is the performance going to be worth the net cost(I don't know what I could get for my Chronics). What do you guys think???
