my heels slide up and my boots are tightened all the way. I even tried to reposition the middle buckle thinking that it would help, it didn't. What can i do?

maybe get some heat moulded inners to fill out the boots a bit more - it sounds like they are too big though?

get boots that fit
put some sort of rubber or foam on the top of your ankle
get the 1080 boots and move the buckle further back so it holds your foot more in place

mine used to too, my boots were just ragged the fuck out. Get new boots man if your heel isnt secure in the pocket you lose a lot of control

get new boots or go to a good bootfitter, they can construct you some sort of dealie that will help hold your heels down. no guarantees though.

i have the same problem. i am willing to buy new boots, but my dad wont let me. he always forces me to use my brothers old boots that are in bad shape. im going to get inserts for them. hopefully that will hold me up against the top better

^ that is probably the dumbest thing a dad can do all things considered, safety should be the top priority. Loose boots that don't fit properly are not SAFE, especially for this type of skiing. Go to the shop and get fitted and buy new boots before you get hurt. Honestly tell him not to be ignorant, it isn't 1930, we live in a technology filled environment and you don't need top of the line but you need proper fitting gear. If he still refuses, go behind his back and buy buy buy

get orthotics (custon footbeds) for your boots. I have them for my shoes and boots and theres so much difference. Its amazing

footbeds really dont keep your heel from riding up though...they do kind of lock your ankle in place but really only side to side movement. If your foot is coming up please explain to me how a footbed that is under your foot is going to hold it down? You just need new boots man.

my heel slides like 1/2 inch up but not side to side anything to stop that? how are foot beds? do they let you have more control?

add an extra insole to the one that is already in your boot...it will fill a bit of the space

if you have slamon boots you can twist the buckle around to tighten it, if that doesnt work get some heel lifts like the person two posts above me said

yeah, i have orthotics that i wear in my shoes and recentally in my ski boots but they don't take up enough space to keep my feet down
