Seeing they are completly different, and have completly different functions and uses other than music and vids, it all comes down to, do you want to spend lots of money on memory to have music on it, but play games, or buy an ipod, and jsut cant play games? well cool games, its got brick!

well there really different....psp is awesome for games, its like having a playstation2 that you can take anywhere, and you can put music, videos, and pictures on it. you dont need to buy anything else once you get it unless you want to upgrade your memory which i think is pointless because you really dont need to put hundreds of videos and shit on because you can just chnage them whenever you feel its needed. an ipod is all for the music, so it depends on what you want. psp has more, and is more interactive and personalized, you can also go on the internet if theres wireless near you....my vote is psp

i wouldn't take my iPod skiing anyways with all the dangerous shit i put myself into, so if you go big by the cheapest iPod (iPod shuffle) get that if you bying to go skiing (I doubt it) and if you brake it, not as bid of a deal as breaking something like a nano

psp. it has everything you want. its a computer in your hands. and ipod is a played out special mp3 player. i got both and my ipod battery is dead. my psp on the other hand is going strong. and you can put hours of porn on your psp. and the screen is so much bigger.

and i'll take my PSP everywhere, when im going on trips i can play video games and watch movies... i don't really need music (although i have a few of my very favorites) because if youre at home you have a computer, a stereo, a cd player just listen to you're music on that. and wen you're in the car you got a radio and a cd player... thee are so many things around you that you can just pop in a cd and wallah...

i also have this trouble with my iPod (i donno if they got rid of it cause i have the original iPod, so enlighten me if this problem doesn't occur for you) but when i try to put a burn cd onto my iPod the songs are all scratchy from the beginning to the end which is the only reason i sold mine to get the PSP, because some of my favorite songs i had to get from my brother in college cause he wouldn't let me borrow his CD's so he had to burn em for me and thay all came out scratchy.

do you realize that its easier to break a shuffle than a nano or a video? my friend fell into rocks the other day and hit his vid on it and nothing happened, and my nano has taken soooo many hard hits, but its perfectly fine. my bro has a shuffle and a video (he works at bestbuy but i still dont know why he has one of each...) but i bent it with my hands. ive tried bending my nano but its basically indestuctible
