1080 tips came off?!?!?!

damn it! both my plastic tips popped off on two different jumps at stowe last week...has this happened to anyone else?? i cant put them back on myself its incredibly hard..anyone have any suggestions?? im probably just going to bring them back to the shop. i was so pissed.

bring em back to a store, ask them to put it back and to put a rivet or a screw..

they sent my brother a new pair when that happend to him..... or wait maybe he popped them off himself, either way they sent him a new pair, they also did that for my friend josh

Yea I've heard about Salomon sending new skis to you when that happens, but they wouldn't do it for me. I called Salomon with the problem, and they gave me BS and told me to go back to the store I bought them at, while the store I bought them at told me to call Salomon. Anyways I just whacked mine back on and skied away. Then I proceeded to purchase a pair of Line's.
