Warranty question

ridiculous question...thinking about warrantying my 1080's...skied on less than 10 times.

Anyways, has anyone warrantied Salomon?

Do they just take one ski...or do they take both skis from you?

How long would I be without my skis? would the shop give me a new one on the spot?

You'll be out for a week to a month depends on whats wrong and such.

dent in the edge...but not underfoot....no idea how it happened.

the edge is separated from the base for 1.5-2 cms. but only slightly (1mm). and it's still attached to the topsheet so I dont think it will fall off.

just worried about water getting in and delam...or edge falling off.

I've skied them maybe 8 times.

The dent is right at the contact point at the tail.

it's not rail damage, but it is slightly warped...not sure if it would qualify as damage or defect.

If it seems minor take pictures and email and ask if you should just send in

if its a defect in performance then send in

doubt you'll get impact damage fixed. Some epoxy and a clamp is probably your best bet there

There's not even a scratch on the base though, even though it's exposed a quarter of a centimeter.

I think it's possible that the connection between the edge and base was weak, and the edge flexed seperately from the ski.

Or at least that's the way I'll likely argue it.
