anybody here swim competitively? if so post what events and your best times. couple of mine, some of which i swam today: 50 free - 24.21

anyways, i will give you respect because swimming is hands down the best sport you can do for staying in shape. its really good for your body

i used to, i stopped when i was 13 or 14. i remember my 100 free was around 1:05 and my 50 free was around :27 or 26

our team is second in indiana but we could win states. it kind of sucks since im a senior and am in the middle of the team and wont siwm at sectionals.

50 free :

swimming is awesome except my coach yells at me whenever injure myself skiing.

I swam 50 breast. undefeated in TCAL, MTAL, SCCAL and I fucking hated every minute of it. The only reason I was undefeated is that there were, like, 10 other girls in all of those leagues who swam that event, i was usually the only one in the pool. i was horrible but the other girls were worse, apparently. thats embarassing for them... i got so bored in swim team that i ended up joining the diving team and getting top-3 in league. that was fun, my coach was hot.
ocean swimming, on the other hand, is the best. i school in ocean swimming.

i do diving, best tricks are double gainer off the 8m platform, sailor dive off the 5m platfor, d-spin off 8m platform, etc. most are with some sick grabs

i used to swim, but i also helped coach the team so i couldn't swim as much as everyone else...but now im in university ao i stopped.
50m free- 30.92
50m breast- 41.77
50m fly- 34.63
100m breast- 1:31.29
but those are the only ones i remember...i don't like swimming distance.

alright, i found my times this year...

100m free- 57:10
400m free- 4:24.15
50m fly- 26:17
100 fly- 1:04.36
200m I.M- 2:20.54
400 I.M- 4:59.47

i hate long distance... i'd swim all 50's and 100's if i could (and probably all fly and I.Ms).. but my coach always enters me into longer distance comps..
