"Fresh" "Hip".... "90's rap" are the words that come to mind when I pop this one in the player.
The beats created by rap legends Public Enemy are nothing short of amazing,
the beat is contageous. I almost feel entranced and light headed when listening to songs like "Rebel Without a Pause". The rapping is incredible, despite sounding monotonous at first (you really appretiate it the second or 3rd time listening)
And the message that is picked up by these songs is nothing like the bitch pleazin' gun tottin' drug smugglin' one heard today by 50 cent or G-Unit. I hear a message against mainstream media, against a rascit society, and even a possible anti bush statement before he came to office?!
So, for all rap lovers out there, or just the kid who wants to hear the music behind the ski, buy this cd. I sure love it.
