today everything was perfect at canada olympic park, a park rats dream hill. there are these two big tables that are always amazingly groomed, not today! today they were horendously amazingly groomed. the superpipe was amazing other than the fact that it was slightly oververt. i also progressed so much i would never have believed. i learned how to do nose butter 3's in 3 runs, i think that may be a new record. i learned 270's and 450's off of rails, a new up rail to be exact. i finally faced my fear of huge jumps since my injury and hit the biggest tabletop at the hill, this my friends, was a day of progression! hw is your day going?
My greatest day was skiing 100" of pow, and getting 3 sets of first tracks during that time. But learning a bunch of new stuff in one day is pretty sweet too, it really makes you want to go out and ski more.
yeah and it's not possible to have your greatest day skiing at cop, especially when it's super warm and slushy and soooo busy. you need to go to a real mountain and remember how much more fun it is than a crappy little hill. that does happen to have a decent park at the moment.
well today was epic 89cm of snow (3 feet) all untouched and just happen to get the 10th chair up at about 11:30 when they finally opened it. was one of the best skiing days ever.
you guys are such downers, this kids pumped on his day and you haters are already being negative.
props dude, ive had days where i just cant get enough.
and about the pow, i sure as hell would rather ski pow, but why would you care if any "real" skier wouldnt choose pow over park? some people enjoy park way more, live and let live!
i would definately pick pow over park, depending on the day. sometimes im just a park rat. im really stoked that i learned butter 360's and how to do 270's and 450's off of rails since before today the biggest rail id hit all year was a 7 foot long 5 inch off the ground up rail. im also super stoked that my friend didnt kill himself in the oververt superpipe after boosting 8 feet out and landing flat. my injury was a shattered heel after casing a 40 foot tabletop which was iced, 2 months in hospital etc
ya sychoskier he didn't break his ankle, he shattered his heel, which means he's obviously in the hospital for at least 2 months you idiot. stop being such an idiot.
are you fucking stupid there are no rails like that at all you idiot, ive been there all week, there is an up rail that is maybe 8 feet long and drops down 3 feet, sketchline your not fooling anyone/.
ok why dont' you get off NS and go pick up a science book because your heel bone is NOT the hardest bone in your body, period. And of course he's lucky he landed on his heel(his feet) rather than his side. jesus.
listen, faggot. i shattered my heels(plural) two years ago overshooting a step down. i was informed, by the doctor in the er, that the heel is the hardest bone in the human body. now, if you know better than him, please talk. otehrwise, get a hundred posts, and come back with an appointment, bitch!
yeah, i over estimate everything, its like 5 and a half feet max. sorry. i was too informed that the heel is the hardest and hardest to break bone in your body...so my surgeon must be an idiot. i was in the hospital for so long due to surgery and the pins sticking outta my foot and x rays and morphine pumps and percosette and learning how to walk again, not fun.
For some reason I think he might be over estimating his skills also... I mean he's amped on clearing a 30ft. or so table and yet he can somehow do 450 out of rails? Whatever man, no proof either way but your word.
My best day would have to be the first day of skiing... Hiking up our closed mountain to ski east coast powder up to our waists when comming down, then the first groomed run down the park.
Which is understandable. I only semi-battles him once over PM's and it wasn't a big deal. So he isn't in my eternal damnation books anymore. I just kinda laugh at some of his dumber posts now...and carry on.
but the real question here is how long were you in the hospital? 2 months? or like a couple hours? kinda like the rail is "15" to the ground or 3. I still haven't been answered.
and who gives a flying fuck how many posts you have? writing on the internet doesnt make you smarter. Look at sketchline he has lots of post and is dumb as shit. I'm member 121, maybe you should come back when you get below member # 20000, and ask pretty please.
Yeah no kidding, 450 out isnt like the best trick in the world, you just need a slightly tall rail and some spinning speed, and 30ft table is, uh yeah small, im might be as stoked as you if i did a switch 9 on a 50fter and 450 disaster 270 a flat down.
but your skills are probably much better than mine^ i get stoked on days like today cuz they dont happen ofter. i hit this little rainbow today where you slide on kinda and i didnt make it all the way up so i was sliding back down and i was like, this is gay so i did my first switchup ever, then something clicked. after that i sorta started spinning off rails like it was nothing, it started hurting after a while cuz it got icy but who cares, best day ever
I will repeat, no one on NS gives a fuck what you can or can't do. Never post about how "stoked" or how "wicked" your damn tricks are. Now, suck a dick hoe, and shut the fuck up.
