Warm weather and rain to cold and snow...what??

it was like 20 degrees about 2 days ago and then it went to 50 and we got about 2 inches of rain on top of the inch or so we got 4 days before...hence for and so on...were suppose to get snow tonight...after a 50 degree day and 2 inches of rain...some one please tell me how the hell that works...
i also hope this is just some kind of game god is playing with me...see how pissed he can get us and then dump a foot or two on us...i can only pray
