Yes, I know, it's another "which ski thread," but I am incapable of thinking for myself so I had to start one. So, I'm 6' 1", 160 lbs, and ski about 95% all-mountain, this pair of skis might actually never see the park. I'm currently on 185 cm pocket rockets and after riding a pair of Head im103's I realized how worthless the PR's are. I need something stiffer that can handle 10-40 foot cliffs, choppy powder, crud, and other good stuff, all while going at a high rate of speed. Useful feedback will be appreciated, and other suggestions are welcome.

umm, i think the ANTS would be nice, concidoring the tail is 10mm higher than the tip for fakie landing in pow, or the scratch BC would be good too. i wouldnt go with Volkl, but thats me.

I've looked at the specs for all the skis and talked to people that own each of the pairs, so I do know what I'm getting. And I think I'll get more biased suggestions at the ski shop because they want my money and will naturally direct me toward the most expensive pair, that's why I'm asking here first. Right now I'm leaning more toward the Gotama or ANT, but I'm still not sure.

scratch BCs are great, but they are meant to be a part time park ski.
If you want to be cool, you should get the ANTs, but I think the Gotamas will suit you just as well, if not better.

I have a pair of Gotama's in a 190 and i love them, stable and light enough to get through the tight spots, I haven't tried the other 2 I just got a piar of this years BC's so i'm going to try them, I would say Got's or Ants if you really want to charge it, some strait lines and what not but if you want to do some tricks off of clifs, some spins or switch 1's and what not i'd say go with the BC's or SV's, and if you really want a serious big mountain board i'd go with the dynastar LP's or which would be my choice the rossignol B Squads.

Well I just went into town to check out skis and of course the shop closed half an hour before I got there. But I've ruled out the Scratch BC now because these will be my big mountain boards, I already have a pair of park skis for park. So I'm going to go check out skis as soon as I can, I think I'll end up getting the ANTS just so I won't have the same skis as all of my friends.
